Kona Beaches

Enjoy an easy ride, mostly in bicycle lanes, along the shoreline of Alii drive stopping at several beaches where you can soak in the views, the sun, or jump in the water.

Our local guide takes you to Honl's Beach where the Boogie Board was invented, Banyan's Beach to watch local surfers, Magic Sands Beach for a swim if the surf is friendly, Kahaluu Beach for snorkeling, Keahou Bay for beautiful harbor views, and End of the World for big ocean views and wild goat sightings. Learn how you can malama (care for) the reef ecosystem from a brief presentation by the volunteers of the ReefTeach program at Kahaluu Bay. Of course, you can just be an observer at all the beach stops, you are not required to get wet.

This ride is about 15 miles round trip, but with our eBikes that is an easy day on flat terrain. Towels, snorkel gear, and carry cinch-sacks are available for rental. Reef-safe sunscreen and rain ponchos are available for purchase.
